I love the R8. I played nothing but deathmatch for 2 weeks and only used the R8 the whole time. Once I could consistently finish in the top 3 by using nothing but the R8, I started using it in comp and premier games. It takes a bit of practice, but it’s deadly powerful and rail gun accurate.

Personally, I use the R8 Revolver. It’s more of an “High risk, high reward” weapon than the desert eagle. More fun to use, has better animation when you press (F+R+F+R) it flips the gun like a cowboy. It’s highly accurate when you hold left click and does as much damage as the SSG 08. It’s basically the pocket scout. A sniper-pistol.

Jul 10, 2022 · The best way to play is to go into your inventory, right click the revolver, go to view loadout, and then put the deagle on. The R8 junk in comparison. It's basically a meme gun. You're just gimping yourself on a loadout slot. If you REALLY want to use it for fun just go into aim maps and deathmatches to learn the delay.

Deagle is broken and the r8 is trash. Not sure why the devs chose to balance the game in this way given that the deagle has literally never been used in combat and is an impractical piece of garbage, but in CS2 it's the most powerful gun in the game for the money.

The benefit: every time you kill the AWPer with a $600 pistol, they'll get very angry. This is called 'putting them on tilt.' They will play worse the next several rounds. It's the rare player who won't get triggered by being killed by an R8. In the right hands, the R8 is a great asset. Learning how to use it effectively takes time, however.

Mar 5, 2016 · How I use the r8 revolver post-nerf is by aiming at the head, or by aiming at the body if I know the person is lit. The fanning technique is luck based. The spread is random and there's no way to compensate for it.

The revolver could have semi-automatic mode with left-click, and turn into burst fire/automatic mode when using right-click (just like the glock). It could fire 3 rounds each time the player presses right-click, with the right amount of recoil of course so that it's not op again.
