Sep 19, 2023 · Huge dam for fishing, on site accommodation, a separate camp site with all amenities. A big modern hall for functions with rest rooms, kitchen etc. Lapas along side the dam for shade. Really for day visitors you need to give us better toilets. I know it R50 but you got to give us better toilets.

Nice fishing spot, catch & release only. three dams to fish in top dam carp & barbel bottom dams carp, barbel & bass. Open daily from 6 to 6. No camping allowed. The road to the bottom dams can be tricky after rains.

Quite a lot of work has been done at R50 dam. The dam that was completely choked up with reads has been cleared out and turned into two new dams. There are now 4 dams there and they are busy fixing it up quite nicely.
