In the Dark Kingdom, Queen Beryl is angry with Kunzite and Zoisite for interfering with her plans. She makes them vanish in a flash of light, and Jadeite is quick to apologize for his failure. Beryl is not angry with him, however, and, with a glance toward Mio, says she has other plans.

Jul 2, 2014 · Later on, we learn that the Princess's spirit is pretty full of rage, anger, jealousy and hatred and has an enormous animosity towards Beryl. Her rage and hatred end up fueling and accelerating Queen Metallia's impending resurrection, with the Silver Crystal acting as a conduit.

Oct 19, 2022 · From what I understand Beryl was supposed to be a tragic character. I would've liked to see her unrequited love for Endymion elaborated on. A part of me blames Takeuchi's schedule and editors.

Zoicite is trying to manipulate Queen Beryl into losing faith in Nephlite and she seems to be succeeding. Nephlite, aware of this plotting storms off in anger leaving Beryl angry at his arrogance and Zoicite very pleased with how things are going.
