Mar 9, 2022 · We are newbies looking to purchase a wood burning stove for our house after a recent propane shortage scare in our small Colorado mountain town. My husband is liking the Quadra Fire 5700 Step Top, but I have seen several negative reviews of Quadra Fire products. We are hoping you might have some pros/cons of this particular stove.

Feb 7, 2008 · A friend of mine has a Quadra Fire (don't know model number but it is at least 6 years old as he bought house with it in it; would call it mid-sized) pedestal stove. He did not have an owner's manual so has never really known how to use the stove, mainly with the 2 air control levers (one on bottom below door, one on side).

Oct 12, 2006 · Picked up a quadra fire 3000 (1988) of CL in really great shape for $100. It has cracked glass, but I cemented that up and ordered another glass on ebay for $80. Put my first fire in it and it seems to do just fine (it's for the workshop). Seems like an early high efficiency, because it has one air injection tube -- but only one -- way in the back.

Aug 14, 2018 · Reviews on the identical firebox Millenium 2100 are good- seems like a dependable unit with decent results. Ability to change out any standard 12x12 tile on the sides is a great little decor gimmick. Looking forward to using this stove this season as a first time wood stove owner. I hope I picked a winner.
