Dec 1, 2020 · I submitted the claim in February, and saw QTC in August (the appointment was moved 4 times due to Covid - original appointment was in April). Same situation, it was more of a Q&A with some measurements. I am still waiting for my results - and it's all because of QTC taking a long time to respond to VA requests for medical opinion.

May 25, 2022 · QTC Medical in New York/New England area. I am from Connecticut. I put a claim in for increase on one rating and also a new claim for tinnitus. I put the claim in just yesterday with DAV and they called to schedule appointments today. For my claim in 2015 everything was handled at the VA that is about 5 minutes from my house.

Aug 14, 2023 · Qtc held my exam results for 45 days in their qa. It seems like optum is doing that to me as well. I had my last c and p 4 weeks ago tommorow and it still shows processing my exam results. For my first decision it was about 7 weeks after ves sent the results to the va and ves was a little quicker than the other 2.

Feb 24, 2021 · During my exam she took my BP three times and said we have a critical emergency. She sent me straight to the hospital. Today in the mail I got a letter from qtc saying that I had a abnormalitie and said it was critical reading to report it to my primary care physician. I was a medical examiner, contracted with QTC for several years. My experience from the vantage point of the one wearing the white coat is similar to yours. I worked very hard to serve my Veteran's. I pushed back on my medical opinions, and was known for my medical opinion writing.

Jan 21, 2022 · Received a notice from QTC, and an email from the VA referencing the appointment. “Do not travel to this appointment”. It says, “An in-person evaluation will not be performed by this QTC provider, instead the QTC provider will review your VA medical evidence to complete the VA’s disability benefits questionnaire.”
