Feb 23, 2025 · I so agree with Myers I chose a mount that was ok at the time it came out but did not stand the test of time and had to swap my 30 cal to a new mount type. I started with a 22 sparrow and love mine. If you are only doing 22LR with it i would look at the Q erector it is an awesome design. I went sparrow for the 22WMR and 5.7X28MM capability.

Nov 20, 2022 · Direct thread eliminates this inevitable hassle, shoulda woulda. Dead Air makes a fine .22 suppressor, but you can get a Ruger for 1/2 the price. I would start with a .22 and "standard velocity" ammo (which is subsonic) and have fun. You can put a .22 suppressor on a pistol without boosters and pistons and all of that jim-crackery.
