Aug 18, 2024 · Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.) will host the 24 th Annual Pooch Parade on Sunday, August 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join C.A.R.L. and its adoptable rescue dogs for a day of fun in the sun at Ventura Harbor Village, 1583 Spinnaker Drive in Ventura. This year’s theme is “Fun, Sun, Sand, and Supporting Rescue Dogs!”

CARL welcomes all dogs and furry-friend lovers alike to the 24th Annual Pooch Parade, a sun-soaked, fun-filled day, all while raising funds to help re-home the Canine Adoption and Rescue League’s (CARL) shelter dogs!

Pooch Parade has a new date! Sunday September 24, 2023! The heart and soul of the Annual Pooch Parade is the parade itself. Hundreds of dogs and their owners walk a mile up and down the Ventura Harbor Village Promenade, surrounded by good friends and great music.

This year, the 2023 Annual Pooch Parade will be held at Ventura Harbor Village in Ventura! Come enjoy a day out with your beloved dog(s) and support C.A.R.L. and local businesses in the process! Vendors and schedule are subject to change.

The CARL 2023 Pooch Parade after deducted expenses made $20,702. That was our first Pooch Parade since the COVID Pandemic! We’re looking forward to having more Sponsors and adding more vendors and nonprofits this year. Please help us reach our goal of $40,000+ this year!

Your dog is more than welcome to walk in the parade with you, and will be an honored guest at the fair! You’ll also get to participate in our dog contests to be announced. What if it rains?
