What is your opinion on pocket Sages? Not even kidding, the trend of bringing a pocket Sage in a TEAM game needs to die. Had several games where a guy would bring his girlfriend to play Sage. Sure, she shoots reasonably well, but the fact that she cowers over you the whole round really hurts the game for everyone.

While sage does have res, skye can help in many more ways and imo the better pocket duo to play with Edit: read a couple comments and realised she doesnt really fit the "pocket" category. We dont strictly hold together during the match, teammates get healed too, walls flashes and stuff and even slow orbs when she plays as sage are used.

Pocket Sage comes from Pocket Mercy, which was a thing in Overwatch. In Overwatch, mercy could sit on one teammate permanently healing/damage boosting them, while ignoring the rest of the team. The thing is, Pocket Sage is not a real thing, because her heal is on a 45 second cool down, and healing is significantly less impactful in Valorant.

Oct 20, 2023 · Instead of playing as a team and helping each other, the Sage just sat in a corner with Sova and just followed him wherever he went. When asked he told that Sage is his girlfriend. It would have been fine if that was it. But the Sage refused to heal anyone who was low hp and only healed his Boyfriend even if he was just -10 hp and we were 1 hp.
