So for context, Pluto is a story about 7 of the most advanced robots in the world and the scientists that created them being hunted down by a mysterious killer that implants horns on his victims and has the moniker of the Roman god of the underworld: Pluto. Hence the name of the anime.

In Pluto, as in Monster and Narita's stories, Baccano and Durarara, this results in a mess. A simple story made convoluted to the point where it's borderline impossible to understand what's going on most of the time. I don't have trouble understanding what's going on most of the time in all of those and in even more complex animangas.
