Pino Grande (Spanish for "Large Pine") is an unincorporated community in El Dorado County, California. [1] It is located 8 miles (13 km) north-northwest of Pollock Pines, [2] at an elevation of 4022 feet (1226 m). [1]

Located approximately 18 miles northeast of Placerville, CA the operations lasted until the late 1940s. The mill had the capacity to produce 200,000 board feet of cut lumber every 10 hours, and that was in 1910. From Pino Grande the rough cut lumber was sent to their mill in Camino, CA.
