Apr 26, 2008 · The 'wear out' date for black boots with the flight suit AND the old style brown (BDU Brown) undershirt is at the end of this month. Once the switch happens, all boots must be tan and the undershirt has to be the ACU tan (if you can actually find it in 100% cotton) or Green.

Apr 8, 2013 · Military and police crews wear what they're required to wear. As I do - I wear what the company says I have to. Again, one-piece flight suits are fine in the cockpit, but I spend most of my time outside it, and unfortunately I have to wear the suit all the time. I'm not necessarily knocking Nomex, just the one-piece suit.

May 18, 2008 · Personally for me Under Armour compression t-shirts and compression shorts are the way to go. Always wore that under my nomex flight suit and kit, and it really helps cool you down. If you are that worried about fire hazards then look at the Under Armour shirt they have that is fire retardent, but it used to be $100.
