Peanut Size - BladeForums.com
Nov 10, 2001 · If you lay the Peanut and the Pocket Hunter side-by-side you'll see that the Pocket Hunter is just a hair thicker, but otherwise the same size. I carried the Pocket Hunter for a week and was completely sold. The main blade is the same as the Peanut, but the secondary blade -- the "skinner" profile blade -- is the same size as the main (clip ...
Finish for micarta? - BladeForums.com
Jun 6, 2000 · I have a small stockman peanut size I just rescaled (very poorly I might add) with micarta. I've done some searches but not finding (I must be missing it). I've considered super glue and/or tru-oil or just buffing. Thoughts?
Review - new Boker peanut-size caplifter | BladeForums.com
May 25, 2018 · Here are some comparison pics L to R: GEC 14, Case Peanut & Boker Duo. The Boker is the length of the peanut but the width of the #14. Hard to tell from the pics but it feels a little bit “fatter” than the other knives

Jan 22, 2011 · The Texas Jack is quite a bit larger than the Peanut and would represent several sizes up, IMHO. It's 3-5/8" and carries like most medium stockmen, mini-trappers, canoes and the like. knarfeng

What are you guys using for a sharpening setup for a Case Peanut ...
Mar 17, 2016 · A Fine diamond hone in a credit card size works fast on the small & thin blades of a Peanut, even for rebevelling or major edge repairs. And an EF can easily handle other regular touch-ups in as little as 5-10 passes. I sometimes use an oilstone (SiC, AlOx or Arkansas) to touch it up, if those are at hand.
Pemberton vs. Peanut.......comparison pics | BladeForums.com
Feb 8, 2013 · Not in my experience. The Pemberton is nice and flat. The Peanut is Chunky. I would say the Peanut is fatter than a single blade Pemberton, by one spring width. I would also say the spring resistance on my Peanut is a 3 (feels soft, does not inspire confidence on lockup) compared to an 8 for the Pemberton (feels rock solid when open).

Pocket knife weight (and size) | BladeForums.com
Jan 23, 2011 · In the pocket, I carry a 3 3/8" Barlow, one of my medium stockman knives, a peanut, a tiny Dan Burke half whittler, a butterbean or even a 3 5/8" canoe. Strangely, the canoe melts into the pocket and I don't notice it at all. I guess it's the very rounded bolsters and the slim profile from one shared backspring.
