Mar 13, 2015 · Fans of Parker Penman Sapphire don't seem to care that it may stain and clog pens. To them, the vibrant blue color, deep saturation, and amazing sheen are worth the tradeoff. I see all of those things in my sample, which was sent to me by my wonderful ink benefactor in a vial simply marked "PPS".

Mar 16, 2022 · The only Penman ink I have used is Sapphire and it is a lovely ink with rich color, excellent behavior, and good flow. Scribe Indigo is really close to Sapphire and a wonderful ink in its own right but I find that Monteverde Horizon Blue is the closest thing to Penman Sapphire available and it's a lot cheaper than Indigo.

Nov 22, 2016 · Parker Penman Sapphire isn't a dry ink, but it certainly isn't a wet ink. It takes a fairly short amount of time to dry on Rhodia paper. It took fifteen seconds for Penman Sapphire to dry compared to twenty for DC Supershow Blue and over a minute (!) for Bungubox Sapphire.

♦ Penman. In 1993 Parker introduced the first new ink since the 1940s. The Penman ink came in newly designed, very attractive, round ink bottles with a large cap which made opening them easy, and inside there was a small plastic container that made filling pens easier.
