Jan 17, 2023 · Historically Paranoia is actually a pretty deep and involved setting that allows for some really amazing gameplay opportunities even when looked at through a more traditional RPG lens. The people who take a Calivinball style ZAPZAPLOL approach are doing the game and their players a real disservice.

Jan 20, 2023 · Fifth edition was published by people who didn't know Paranoia very well. I don't like criticising game designers, but this edition failed to be funny or interesting. Most fans consider it a non-product due to how bad it was. Paranoia is one of the few RPGs where you can run older adventures without much of a problem.

This should be faithful to the spirit of Paranoia. :) I play lots of Paranoia one-shots at cons, so there I meet with players individually before the game officially begins to discuss secsoc, mutations, and any secret missions. As for rewards for mission completion, I wouldn't worry about this too much.
