Feb 1, 2021 · I recently bought the Q150 speakers in a white finish. They look great without a grill, but with my 1-year old, I need to prevent poking fingers. The dealer I'm working with suggested buying the black grill and spray painting it white. Has anyone does this? Does it look good? Or are there any other options?

Mar 4, 2022 · Your new Invisa in-wall/in-ceiling speakers include a paintable “edgeless” grille that completely covers the installed speaker. The grille comes in a neutral white to blend with most areas, however, for the ultimate in “stealth” installation, they may be painted to match any decor.

Apr 11, 2021 · I picked up some HTD in-walls HDX-W80 for my new media room. Needed to paint the grilles to match the walls. HTD recommended spraying the paint (interior latex from Sherwin Williams) and thinning 1-1 with thinner (water in the case of latex wall paint.)

Remove the grill from the speaker, remove paint from grill or at least clean out the holes. You can get replacement grills, check online for that model speaker or similar size from same manufacturer.

Jun 26, 2019 · They came with instructions specifying that the grills should be spray painted at certain angles that a heat source shouldn't be used to dry them. Turns out our painter used a roller instead (with a heat source to help dry them).

Jul 31, 2023 · I’ve got Kef in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. In the manual it states the bezel is also paintable, although I’ve not painted mine yet. The in-walls need to be painted dark blue.
