Hot take: I think Paimon was created by the Abyss Sibling as a companion for the Traveler, using the same Khaenri'an technology that Gold used to create Albedo. But Paimon doesn't realize this; the dramatic reveal will be that she's been the unwitting eyes and ears of the Abyss this entire time. I think that fits with Paimon in a couple of ways.

She's floating, she looks like a 7 year old, but her knowledge is beyond of a common 7 year old. We don't see people like Paimon very often, one that is floating freely. Jun 29, 2022 · Paimon only uses "Paimon" in English. She uses "I" in other languages, although I don't know each instance and how "gendered" the I pronoun is. What I want to say is that in this particular video, "Paimon is Paimon" most likely is to be translated as "I am Paimon = my name in Paimon, not little girl".
