Cap d'Agde (French pronunciation: [kap daɡd]) is a seaside resort on France's Mediterranean coast. It is located in the commune of Agde , in the Hérault department within the region of Occitanie .

Cap d’Agde is a unique city, the capital of eroticism, as everyone knows. But if you are also looking for the capital of naturism, go your way. Once off the beach, the naturist lifestyle is almost non-existent: people dressed in shorts, bikinis. Shawls and pareos are literally everywhere.

The town of ‘Agde’ itself is a cute fishing village and there are many vineyards nearby and further, along the French south coast, there is the French Riviera.

There are always plenty of kids on the main beach and around the resort, the older ones freely walking around with or without their parents without issue. The vibe during the day is laid back and friendly and there is always plenty of people around. At night everyone gets dressed for dinner, although some of the outfits can be a little weird.
