Coud try this option but it’s costly, presuming the pvr output is hdmi. Also no guarantee. Get a stand alone HDMI to USB recorder and a 1 into 2 splitter. From pvr out to in of splitter. Splitter outputs to in of tv and recorder. Can leave the tv running while recording -or- set up turn off before starting to record.
