The PSP also has slightly remastered versions of I and II which make them look slightly better than the originals without changing the gameplay. Half Minute Hero - really interesting hybrid genre RPG. Hard to explain properly. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - nails most of the RPG nostalgia without falling into too many RPG pitfalls.

Sep 1, 2021 · Tactics Ogre is also great. I played the first trails in the sky on PSP some years back. Really enjoyed it. The kingdom heart's game is a solid action RPG. Haven't played Valkria Chronicles on PSP but enjoyed the games quite a bit on Switch.

This means that this list: Excludes any ports (ex: Mana Khemia) or remakes (ex: Persona 3 Portable). All of these games were first released for the PSP.

Nov 1, 2011 · The PSP actually ended up with a significant number of good RPGs, probably the best "Classic" rpg would be The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. I would say the most unique would be Half-Minute Hero. Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman is a cross between Disagea and old school dungeon crawlers.
