Nov 2, 2024 · Needless to say, on PS5 and Xbox Series, unlocking the number of frames per second in Quality mode won't be a good idea, even on Microsoft's console where the VRR window is larger. Then there's the Performance mode, which is generally satisfactory on Pro, with a notable improvement over the standard PS5.

Mar 10, 2023 · I think it works like it did on PS4, you will need to set the PS5 at your partners home to be your primary PS5. Then your partner should be able to access all of your games. At your home your ps5 will be a secondary system and as long as your are logged into PSN you should be able to access all of your games.

Mar 22, 2022 · With your PS5 connected to your home theater audio setup, attach a PSVR unit to it (I have the second version), turn it on and then connect your headphones to the PSVR's headphone jack. That's it. BTW, you need the special adapter that Sony offers for free for PSVR to work, though I think it comes with new purchases of the gizmo.

Nov 16, 2023 · I switched in-game audio to multichannel, keeping PS5 set to Atmos, and the same thing occurred. Finally I changed PS5 to LPCM output, and lo and behold the door noise moves around my speakers as the camera did. And now I can pinpoint where monsters are coming from, etc. Resident Evil 4 is another one with issues.

Aug 3, 2024 · Yep! The DLC should still be accessible as long as the Japanese account has your PS5 set as its primary playstation. I did the same thing for FFXVI. My JP account is my main, and I bought the DLC on the US store, and played through it on my JP account.

Dec 24, 2020 · On your PS5 are you selecting AV Reciever as your audio device type? Or Soundbar? Soundbar limits me to 2.0 and so I set it to AV to get 5.1. I'm going PS5 in AV Receiver 5.1 and Dolby mode>TCL TV via HDMI>ARC out from the TV to Soundbar. I get no audio lag, it's 5.1 as it should be, and don't have to touch any settings unless my TV acts up.

Nov 25, 2020 · However, when booting an 120hz title, the PS5 outputs YCbCr instead of RGB. YCbCr only outputs limited range, which caused a mismatch between the range output by the PS5 and my TV. Setting black level to "low" fixed this, but when the PS5's RGB range is set to "automatic", it switches back to RGB full when in 60hz mode.

Mar 9, 2022 · If you have 7.1 then your PS5 will output to those channels. 3D audio is only for 2ch output like headphones or TV speakers to mimic surround sound. But you have true surround. Also set your PS5 to Dolby or DTS as PCM only supports up to 5.1 IIRC. Also 3D Audio is powered by the tempest engine. They're one and the same.

Dynamic tone mapping will raise the value of the peak white before clipping occurs by continually lowering the APL of the image to retain more specular highlight detail.
