Good point. Even if one gets the exact same gpu, it will not perform the same cuz of all the optimization and stuff they have got going on with the games. And if one finds a gpu with the same gaming performance, it won’t take long until that gpu is outdated, but the ps5 will still be able to run them well. It’s all about game optimization.

I believe the PS5 GPU will be roughly equivalent to a GTX 1080 (not Ti) or a RTX 2070 (not Super), plus the ray tracing capabilities of a RTX 2060 or lower than that. Regarding AMD hardware, the current Navi-based RX 5700 XT (44 CUs, 4 disabled for yields, and 1500-1600 MHz) is a hot candidate for the PS5 GPU.
