Mar 22, 2025 · I've got a PS2 Fat with an two issues, the first would be in the title where it has a grey image that is slightly distorted too, I personally would suspect the video chip or the caps around it. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Feb 4, 2022 · As somebody else has said, blue bottom games are CDs and grey bottom discs are DVDs. If it reads DVDs just fine but not CDs then the laser either needs adjustment or replacement. You can try cleaning the laser with 90% or higher rubbing alcohol and a q tip but that likely won't do anything.
