A typical approach speed is about 80 knots with full flaps. The real PC-12 pilots like to land with flaps 30, but I think it is easier to make a smooth landing at flaps 40 (full flaps). A flaps-30 landing with some extra speed can result in 2000+ feet of floating over the runway.

Jul 6, 2016 · The PC-12 has Fowler type flaps, with the first 15 degrees (used for normal takeoffs), you are adding a lot of wing area instead vs camber (they have A LOT of aft movement vs down movement). I'm not an engineer so I probably don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm guessing the reduced wing area helps with cruise speeds but requires takeoff ...
