Jun 22, 2009 · Usually if a NP205 rear output fails, it is at the oiling slots. Generally the only customs I have calling needing those shafts replaicng are sled pulling trucks. AA's aftermarket output shaft uses oiling holes, instead of slots, so along with the increased strength, they have more material. -Kyle.

Jan 14, 2013 · After reading the installation instructions for the 6l80, 32 spline (50-9550B), the adapter will work with the shorter 4x4 output, a cut down 2wd output (the one with 6" of spline) and on the fixed yoke 2wd you need to modify the output shaft.

Dec 8, 2010 · Here's a pic of the standard divorced NP435 output shaft vs. the 32 spline one ton 2wd output. FYI, f600's with NP435's typically have 1410 yokes and 35 spline output shafts, but they also have a drum brake on the output. They also have bigger input shafts (1 3/8" 10 spline vs. 1 1/8" standard if I recall), but the input is also longer.

Jun 30, 2008 · Then you can stick a big screwdriver or prybar between the input and output shafts to pop the pump loose. If the pump didn't basically fall out, it sounds like that tranny has been together for quite a while.
