Órla Ryan is an Irish journalist who works in London for the Financial Times. She lived in Africa for more than four years, most recently in Ghana where she worked for Reuters. During that period, she received a grant from the Fund for Investigative Journalism, which helped finance the research for Chocolate Nations.
