Sep 7, 2018 · Thank you for your reply, I don't like hiding the taskbar completely, I just want to stop the icons turning orange when programs launch, or when you get a message on like steam or Teamspeak. Hi, Please be aware that within windows 10 you can always hide your taskbar.

When I click on these orange icons I get a message saying the Microsoft product needed to open the files is not installed. I've been running Microsoft Office 2010 for several yeas, so I know it is installed. I can open my Office programs from the Start Menu.
