Jan 24, 2021 · Der Opel Ascona B ist eine Mittelklasse-Limousine der Adam Opel AG, Rüsselsheim und wurde im September 1975 vorgestellt. Er war der Nachfolger des ab November 1970 gebauten Ascona A und der letzte Ascona auf der GM-H Plattform mit Hinterradantrieb.

Im April 1979 erschien sogar ein Irmscher-Sondermodell "Ascona i2000" mit 2.0 Liter Motor und 125 PS. Aber auch ohne Irmscher konnte man nicht mäckern. Der Ascona B war mit 14 Motor-Varianten lieferbar, so daß für jeden Geschmack und jeden Geldbeutel etwas dabei war.

OPEL ASCONA B i2000 Baujahr 1979: 1987 hat Andi seinen Ascona B vom zweiten Besitzer übernommen. Trotzdem sich der Wagen in einem guten Zustand befand, hat Andi den Ascona nach dem Erwerb zerlegt, um ihn nach seinen Vorstellungen optisch und technisch zu verändern.
