On Olympus however, Ring 6 will never end on about 40% of the entire map. (See Image 5) Fixing Points 1 & 2 will inevitably solve this while weakening power positions that become more oppressive as rings close. Overall, despite the flaws Olympus currently has, it's in a much better position for competitive than it previously was in 2021.

Apr 9, 2021 · No, olympus is just a bad map for ranked, how its made very heavily favors the third parties, and especially in ranked where your forced to take fights at certain times, its almost guarenteed to get 5-6 teams pushing you. Its a fun map for pubs imo, but terrible for ranked.

Olympus to me was the perfect sized map, the only negative was random holes in the map which just didn’t need to be there, but some of my best apex memories was falling through there. Now that I think about it.

I know that 3rd parties are a thing that will always happen and must be accounted for, but it just feels very rough on Olympus. Rotations also feel brutal on Olympus, it feels very hard to get a good rotate because there is so little cover, or even hills to use as a wall. I would prefer a KC/WE/SE rotation (KC could be dropped for the new map)

Olympus needs to change the center of the map to get rid of the giant valley with little to no loot, plus add a poi to let another team drop on the map, then it should be good for comp. I hope one of these 2 things happen next season so world's edge is a bit better for pubs and Olympus is good for comp, cause its really close.

Jun 2, 2023 · My favorite spot so far I’ve found this season is the entire mountain north of Hammond, south of turbine on Olympus is playable on sliding texture with a few spots that you can even manage to get yourself stuck in so you don’t have to keep moving.
