The parade of the landlords marks the official start of Oktoberfest. It takes place on the first Saturday of the Oktoberfest, before the famous “O'zapft is!” at noon. This is followed by the traditional costume and hunters’ parade at 10 am on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The Max II monument on Maximilianstraße is the starting point of the festive costume and hunters’ parade at 10 am on the first Sunday of the Oktoberfest. From there, the parade ambles through Munich city center towards the Theresienwiese.
