Accompanying ASIMO’s Miraikan graduation, a special event known as “THANK YOU ASIMO! – Congratulations on graduating from Miraikan” will be held from Friday, March 18 to Thursday, March 31 to express thanks to ASIMO for the 20-year journey it has taken with us.

20年間、科学コミュニケーターとして活躍したasimoが、2022年3月31日をもって未来館を卒業することとなりました。未来館卒業にあたり、20年間ともに歩んできたasimoに感謝の気持ちを込め、3月18日（金）～31日（木）の期間、特別イベントを開催します。

In order to commemorate ASIMO's graduation from Miraikan, and to show our thanks for the 20 years that we have spent together, we will be holding a special event from March 18th (Friday) through to March 31 (Thursday).

ASIMO stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility and he sure lives up to that! The goal with ASIMO was to create a robot that could walk, but they also achieved a robot that can hop on one foot, dance, play football and more.

The National Museum of Science and Innovation, commonly known as the Miraikan Museum, can be found in Odaiba. In this interactive museum you can see the latest in scientific achievements as well as the new trends and technologies that will define the coming years.

Apr 3, 2024 · Miraikan – or the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation – is located on Odaiba, a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay. We travelled there via the Rainbow Bridge on the driver-less Yurikamome train.
