Oct 31, 2022 · It depends on the program. The online school I am currently in is accredited but I wouldn’t reccomend it to anyone. While most nursing schools are unorganized, this one takes it to the extreme. It is also all strictly self taught from the textbook. Assignments are vague. If you can find a good balanced program I think it would be beneficial.

Mar 20, 2022 · You’ll have all your precious energy for the nursing classes. Furthermore, if you can save money (or time) by doing pre or co requisites at another school online, do it. I looked up the degree requirements for the nursing school, but took those classes elsewhere and transferred the credits. Cheaper and more flexible.

Mar 7, 2012 · Most online degrees (not all) do not have clinical nursing experience as part of curriculum. That precludes them from helping you get a bedside nursing job. If you are looking for enrichment, a masters because you want one, or are looking to move into administration or away from the bedside, online degrees may be an option.

Feb 27, 2024 · Yup nursing school tuition is insane and it doesn’t factor in hidden costs. In my area of the US, health insurance is a requirement for all nursing students while enrolled. That eliminates potential students that fall into that gray area.
