Jun 16, 2020 · Outside enclosure seems like it might be nice, but limits the amount of interaction by you which could lead to her becoming aggressive. I believe most folks that have NR squirrels keep them indoors and provide out of cage time to give them the ability to jump and run.

Jul 21, 2024 · Exactly one year ago I rescued a baby girl fox squirrel that fell 50 feet out of a nest. She was on deaths doorstep and I followed all protocols to save her. (happy story) She was very happy and healthy after the recovery and on the proper diet and lifestyle protocol.

I currently have a 2-1/2 yr old female NR - Missy (she also had a leg injury, balance issues and for the most part does not know she is a squirrel - LOL!) I would love to keep them together and eventually for them to keep each other company.
