Papa Nihil, formerly known as "Papa Emeritus Zero", is a member of The Clergy, and was the frontman of Ghost during the Seven Inches of Satanic Panic cycle in 1969. He is the father of Papa Emeritus I, Papa Emeritus II, Papa Emeritus III, and Frater Imperator.

Mar 11, 2025 · We got to see both Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil in their younger incarnations during Ghost's Kiss The Go-Goat era, which also expanded their story and revealed IV was the love child of Imperator and Nihil (and may have a sibling).

Papa Nihil, or Papa Emeritus Zero, sometimes also referred to as " Sax God XD ", first appeared at a Ritual on September 30, 2017, after the final performance of Papa Emeritus III was abruptly ended. At this Ritual, Papa Nihil announced that the "middle age" has begun.

According to Ghost's fictional backstory, Seven Inches of Satanic Panic contains two songs that were written and recorded by an early incarnation of the band in 1969, when Papa Emeritus Nihil was the vocalist.

Sep 22, 2023 · To my knowledge, the only times TF physically portrayed Nihl was in the videos for Go Goat and MOAC. This is tricky. Easy first, TF officially stopped using the elements for the ghoul names years ago, right after the infamous lawsuit, he simply calls them “ghoul” now.

Mar 5, 2025 · On 30th September 2017, Ghost leader Papa Emeritus III was killed off on stage at Gothenburg venue Liseberg and his apparent elderly replacement Papa Zero (later known as Papa Nihil) shuffled on stage with a walking stick and breathing equipment.
