Hi all- I’ve lived in North Jersey all my life and have lived mostly between union city and Jersey city. I was previously living in what is considered a “luxury building” in JC but am interested in the Newark URBY. I’m Single, early 30s, and work in NYC/hybrid.

I imagine Urby is relying on the student population heavily. Given that Urby is such a niche product I was a little surprised to see they had decided to open one in downtown Newark, as the downtown Newark residential market, although growing, is still quite small. I imagine Newark Urby will be like a fancy private dorm for Rutgers-Newark and NJIT.
