A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. [1]

This connection was reinforced at the start of 2024, when the Elantra N TCR was redesigned to match the latest facelift for the road car, giving the racer an aggressive, fresh look as well as improved front aerodynamics.

Dec 12, 2022 · JAS Motorsport has unveiled the latest Honda Civic TCR car, which will be eligible for racing in various touring car championships around the world in 2023. The car is based on the latest FL5 Type-R production car, which had been revealed earlier in the summer of 2022.
