Jul 12, 2023 · To receive your warlock's Imp Customization, you must complete a quest line that starts from receiving an item called Mysterious Letter in the mail at level 30. It starts the quest "A Dark Summons" (The quest name and acquisition method is the same for both Horde and Alliance) which will take you to the Darkmoon Faire.

Imps can be incredibly useful depending on the fight. Just going off last season, playing a Warlock could get you into any Temple Tyrannical Keys since the Imp could help your healers out and remove the final boss Magic effect on allies, making the fight SO much easier to get through.
