With scythe, you can miss an attack and then interrupt them if they try to punish. My source is the fact that i dropped close to 100 elo today after repeated scythe players.

I'd much rather fight blasters than scythe. With a little nerf on nair dair hitbox and some frames balancing of the entire kit it should be in a good spot

Oct 17, 2023 · While I agree that most players that want this weapon nerfed are silvers and golds, but it really needs a hitbox nerf on dair or at least increase in recovery time on miss so people stop spamming scythe attacks after whiffing it.

Aug 31, 2017 · Every weapon needs a nerf. Personally I feel like similar to lance, it does very well against those who aren't already extremely familiar with it. Scythe overall has some good ass dodge punishes, and is super fast, so it doesn't take as much work as like say guns or spear to rack up damage.

Sep 5, 2017 · Well, scythe doesn't really need a nerf, it just needs to be changed drastically or removed altogether. It just feels really unfair and frustrating to being dragged into endless strings, no matter how you dodge or move.

Jun 29, 2024 · Improve and change a Shadowbringer and Strike for example: improve proc frequency, change weapon speed 2.5 or 2.7 and change the scale from SPD a little. This all also needs to be tested and verified. I can not only offer, but even help with testing these weapons (maybe some others), but no more.
