Monk weapon flavor ideas notice - Monk - Class Forums - D
Aug 10, 2020 · In the DMG under flavors of fantasy (5E CH.1 P.41) we find "wuxia" and "Wuxia weapon names" chart that re-flavors most if not all the weapons with Chinese and/or Japanese names. I think the easiest thing would be to re-skin a whip to bludgeoning, but have to houserule it as a monk weapon so it levels and you still get your monk ...
Armored Monk? Yea or Nay? - Rules & Game Mechanics - D&D …
Aug 15, 2024 · Imagine for a second the crazy jumping around stunts you've seen people who know how to wear full armor pull off. Now imagine full samurai armor on a monk who jumps off a 10 ft wall, kills 5 armored samurai with his naginata (halberd), then climbs BACK UP the wall to yell at them some more, because according to the soldiers it happened.

Feb 7, 2020 · I think there are still things that could be fixed from previous editions but 5e took a huge leap forward As to the original question. I too think that there are more weapons that could be counted as monk weapons. You could want a naginata type …
