Feb 7, 2013 · NX has never had a so-called '3D Sketcher'. By definition, the curves of a sketch most lay on the plane of the sketch itself. Granted, you can create regular curves, lines, arcs conics, splines in 3D space connecting them together to form a 3D network of curves. This has been possible since the very beginnings of UG/NX and is still supported today.

But I couldn't find any 3D sketch option in NX. That feature (i.e. 3D sketch) is easy in Inventor (you can create 2D or 3D sketches). My question is: What is the simplest way to create fillets for 3D connected lines (say 3 perpendicular lines not in one plane)?

Sep 16, 2021 · You can create a sketch on a path of curve or edge in NX modeling. The created sketch will be perpendicular to the selected path. To create a sketch on a path: Start the “Sketch” command. Select the curve or edge, the sketch will be created. Specify the plane location on the curve by using the “Plane Location” tab.
