Apr 6, 2016 · Figure 3A: Fluorescein angiogram of the right eye demonstrating NVE at 9:00 with marked late leakage inferotemporally in the area of retinal neovascularization. Figure 3B: Fluorescein angiogram of the left eye showing hypofluorescence over the disc and macula from overlying vitreous hemorrhage. Note the late leakage from NVE in the superior retina.
Atlas Entry - Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) - University of …
May 11, 2017 · The left eye shows severe neovascularization of the disc (NVD) that extends down along the inferior arcade with tufts of neovascularization elsewhere (NVE) along both the inferior and superior arcades. The right eye had similar findings.
Intraretinal Microvascular Abnormality (IrMA) - University of Iowa
Conversely, NV tends to be much finer and delicate in caliber, and is sometimes more focal in location depending on its severity. In severe cases, NV tends to grow along the posterior hyaloid interface especially around the optic nerve (i.e. NVD) and periphery (i.e. NVE).

Feb 8, 2008 · Scatter laser photocoagulation was applied to the large area of capillary non-perfusion anterior to the NVE in order to reduce the risk of hemorrhage. Figure 1: Optos widefield imaging of the left eye demonstrates superior temporal retinal neovascularization elsewhere (NVE) as indicated by the white arrow.
Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion - University of Iowa
Jul 20, 2018 · In the right eye, the central macular thickness (CMT) was 286 microns with a normal foveal contour. B. In the left eye (OS), the CMT was 425 microns with marked cystoid macular edema superiorly with subretinal fluid superiorly and temporally. Not depicted here is a pigment epithelial detachment inferior to the fovea with isodense material OS.
Rubeosis iridis or neovascularization of the iris in diabetes
Both eyes had fine vessels coursing along the iris surface in an irregular path directed radially towards the angle. His anterior segment exam demonstrated tufts of vessels along the pupillary margin in the left eye and fine vessel extending from the angle at 3 o'clock. There was a 1 mm layered hyphema in the left eye.

Feb 14, 2018 · Longer axial eye lengths are typically present in myopes and shorter eye lengths in hyperopes (23). AL plays a crucial role in optics and choosing an intraocular lens for cataract surgery. In primary congenital glaucoma, axial myopia is common, and axial eye length should be measured serially to ensure the eye is growing at a normal rate.
