The Supermax was derived from the Max and Spezialmax but differed in many areas, the most obvious being the rear suspension. Commanding considerable esteem both in Germany and abroad, it was a high performance machine with excellent reliability.

NSU Rennmax 250 1954. The Rennmax 250, like the Rennfox 125, made its debut in 1952. Although it did not win any world championship race that year, it nonetheless had all the qualities that were needed to stand up against the Moto Guzzis ridden by Lorenzetti and Fergus Anderson.

Apr 18, 2016 · This 1960 NSU 250 Supermax has been stored in a garage since the mid-1980s and, as you can see, it’ll need some work to get it back on the road again. This bike has aftermarket leg shields, crash bar, and windshield, but other than that it looks pretty original.
