Nippon NS Pro 850gh versus NS Pro 950gh - WRX Club Techs
Oct 31, 2021 · I use NS Pro 850GH (stiff) on my irons. Mid kickpoint, weight is 90 grams (I think), very stable. Not much difference in weight vs the 950GH. Installed in my irons over 5 years ago. I really like it. In my mid 50s and have nearly similar distances like you do …although my handicap index is higher (18.3).

Sep 21, 2011 · Shaft fit for Ping I15I have the chance to get a set of Ping I15's with Nippon NS PRO 850GH in regular. I currently play Mizuno MX300 with PX5.0. I hit them OK but fairly short (7 iron 145). Any views if the Nippons would be a good fit? I hit the I15's a club longer with the stock shaft. My drive...
Nippon NS Pro 8950gh v. 950gh - WRX Club Techs - GolfWRX
Feb 20, 2023 · The two shafts are similar in profile. The NS Pro 950 has more medium launch. I played the 8950 for several seasons as a reshaft in my Calla X20 Tours. It is high-launch, somewhat low spin and got part of stopping power from steep descent angle. As low spin, it was less influenced by head winds. Couldn't find any info comparing tip dynamics.
NSPRO 850GH steel shaft vs awt regular / stiff - GolfWRX
Oct 27, 2010 · The AWT are fine shafts as are the NS Pro's (have the 950's in my wedges). The CS lite's are also good shafts, just launch and spin too high for some people. I think the AWT will launch and spin the lowest, followed by the 850GH, then the CS lites. Couple things about torque.

May 1, 2021 · I currently have PXG Gen 2 311P irons with $ Taper S-120 shafts. I hit these well but they are heavy as I'm pushing 60. I am going to purchase the Gen 3 311P irons and going to use either the Nippon NS Pro 850GH or 950GH shafts. I'm thinking I should stay stiff although I'm right on the stiff/regular line.
