Running 38x11's and a 700hp 435SCJ under the hood. Do the axles hold up for mud drags? yes.

Sep 10, 2012 · Running a power glide & NOT happy in bogging situations. I have a SBC 383 600+hp Run 14.9 tractor tires weighs about 5,100 pounds... give or take a little. SCS case. The gears I'm running - 273 They are great gears when racing, but not Mud bogging!!!!! I shoot right to 7,800rpms and that's fine on clay.

Sep 12, 2010 · I used to run a limited slip with no additive in Dana 60 front and Detroit in 14 bolt rear spinning 44 Boggers. I have destroyed alot of Limited slip units. Went with Detroit front and no problems. ARB is nice depending on if you are driving on street,trail or mud bogging. I personally prefer detroit and all 4 pulling.

Dec 16, 2010 · Im building an S10 to Mud bog with and cant decide if I want to use the S10 frame or a blazer frame. Moost of the guys around here use Blazer (K5) frames but the front tire location is too far forward in the wheelwell. I would prefer to use the S10 frame but am worried that it might not be strong enough. Anyone used an S10 frame? Opinions?

Nov 22, 2009 · I'm curious what brand torque converters everyone is running for the mud. I've got to buy a new converter to go with the bbc engine i'm putting in my truck. The guy that built the engine said it is about 550 hp and needs a 3500 to 4000 stall converter. I will be running a th400 transmission if it matters. Anyone have any reccomendations.
