Okemo, Stratton, or Mount Snow? - AlpineZone
Sep 5, 2005 · I'm a big fan of Mount Snow, but for your wife's ability I would go with okemo. I've fell that their green trails are a bit more difficult than those at Mount Snow. Okemo has a real nice vibe to it. I did stay at Jackson Gore. It's nice, but I think a bit over the top. I prefer a nice lived in lodge to stay in. The pool is really cool there.
Hunter VS Mt Snow | AlpineZone - Northeast Ski and Snowboard …
Feb 5, 2018 · For me Mt Snow is about 3.5 hours, so I don't really consider that a day trip distance. If I lived closer I could see it though. Catskills are 2-2.5 for me, so those are my choices for day trips (with Platty being 2.5 hours and my first choice as long as conditions allow).
Okemo or Mt. Snow??? | AlpineZone - Northeast Ski and …
Jan 2, 2012 · I am a Mount Snow pass holder, but after skiing this weekend, I would check out the snow coverage at Okemo before making a decision. For what they have been dealt, Mount Snow had some good skiing. But the warm weather on Friday (which made for awesome spring skiing) and then the rain last night, followed by drop in temp this morning, affected ...
Mount Snow v. Killington | AlpineZone - Northeast Ski and …
Mar 4, 2007 · Thanks - good stuff. So, it appears, Mount Snow does have black/ challenging terrain. My friend's concerns were managing kids and getting to ski. He felt Mount Snow had better lift service and was easier to manage and Killington was difficult to navigate.
Mount Snow - 12/16/2023 - Sunny and warm! - AlpineZone
Dec 16, 2023 · Nice! Mount Snow sounds awesome right now. I love hitting those trails with good coverage. But yeah, I agree, the congestion at the unloading point can be a buzzkill. Just gotta time it right, I guess. Enjoy your skiing tomorrow and hope the rain holds off!
The North Face at Mount Snow vs. Hunter West - AlpineZone
Nov 8, 2006 · Outside of TNF, the only run that can be considered for challenge at Mount Snow is Beartrap. Hunter has a number of great runs down the front including K27, Racer's, etc. For advanced skiers, I have to say overall they are pretty comparable. Snow is a better option for intermediate with a lot of nice terrain down the front face though. Thoughts?
Which mountain do you prefer (Mount Snow, Stratton, Killingon)?
Feb 4, 2015 · The only good things about Stratton are it's groomers, trees, and lifts. Mount Snow has a lot more variety. They typically groom less than half the trails on the mountain. Ripcord will give you something with Killington-worthy steepness. Glades are somewhat lacking though. You've got more exposures to play with at Snow.

Feb 5, 2015 · The Inn at Mount Snow - the hang out of the ski patrol And late night, you're more than likely to find/end up at the Dover Bar and Grill (Dbag's) - a great ski town dive bar (and yes the floor in the men's bathroom IS tilted a bit - I can actually attest to that before drinking one night )
