Oct 24, 2015 · I have a Morso 2110 - I have one season of experience with it (last year). I had a Jotul (F100) at my prior (smaller) house and really liked it. When I moved to a new house, I wanted a cast iron stove with a good viewing area and a nice look. I needed something bigger than a F100, so settled on the 2110. Overall, I like it.

Nov 16, 2020 · The Morso folks in Denmark responded to my e-mail inquiry and advised that I need 8 mm (i.e., metric) gasket rope, which I've ordered from LITHUANIA (!) on eBay. I supposed I could've gotten some 5/16" gasket rope, but after prior frustration with using improperly sized rope, I'm just going to go with the manufacturer's specs.

Dec 3, 2006 · Give a try to the way Morso suggests in the 2110 manual. It gives very good instructions and advice about your intial fire. 2-3 pounds of kindling in a crisscross pattern, max 1 inch size, doors only slightly cracked open, air control wide open.

Oct 5, 2011 · From what I have read and heard about the Morso 1710 it is not the heat producer of some of the other wood stoves. I will let you know in the next couple days! Our decision to go with the Morso was because of the fact it is the best looking insert that we have seen (our opinion). I just hope it puts out the heat!

Sep 9, 2012 · The 2110 is a great, small stove and a willing heater. The problem is that it lacks capacity for longer burns. 9 cords of wood in less than 2 years for this little stove is amazing. That is a huge amount of btus which indicates to me that your dealer was incorrect.
