June 2008 edited August 2014 in Mitsubishi I want to put a turbo into my stock 92' 3000gt sl. I was wondering if besides the transmission if the internal parts of the sl and vr4 are different in anyways because i would like to add a turbo without hopefully changing anything internal.

My 1991 3000gt SL has 191,000 miles been running on 5 cylinders for 20,000 won't DIE !!! thinking of doing the valves myself , i have done valves on other types of 4cylinder engines before, need to know if theres any tips or tricks i need to know about doing a valve job on the V6, any one who has done their own valves, your help is GREATLY ...

im looking to purchess a 95 gt vr4, it has these uprades, just wondering if some more expertly honed opinions would be able to tell me if i should leave it as is for a generally fast car {faster than a stock vr4 obviously due to the new intake and stepped up turbos...} or if anyone has any ideas on what would totally set my car far above and beyond a standard vr4...
