The Evolution VI was the sixth iteration of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The Evo VI was introduced in 1999 and was offered as a performance focused all wheel drive sedan. Like its predecessors, the Evo VI was fitted with a turbocharged 2.0L inline four engine producing 276hp.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII appeared in 2003, this time sporting 17-inch grey Enkei wheels, Brembo brakes and Bilstein shocks to handle traction and a 5-speed manual gearbox with 280 PS (206 kW; 276 hp) (approx. 234 bhp (237 PS; 174 kW) to the wheels).
