Nov 8, 2020 · These are common mistakes but sometimes these "rules" that Minecraft has are inevitable. The higher a block is the lesser chance a mob has of spawning. For example at y=5, a mob has a 1/5 chance of initiating a spawn. It's don't quite know how to define "initiating" but just know that the higher a farm is the worse the farm will be.

Dec 1, 2020 · My drowned farm is in a river biome, between a birch forest, a dark forest, and a desert. It is pretty large, and it is built all the way up at Y-255. My AFK platform where water funnels in drowned is at Y-189, where I stand and AFK. I have a mob water collector that pushes the drowned that drop out of the farm into the spawning platform.

Sep 12, 2018 · I started a nice little zombie attractor/and drowned spawner and zombie-convert-to-drowned area. Plenty of Drowned's now, these days. I have gotten good loot now and then.. but no trident yet look at pix.. pretty simple..swimming pool with egg and/or villager in middle. and plenty of flat dark deep spawning area.

Mar 17, 2019 · I built a drowned farm based on the one from video, it's inside a deep ocean biome with no structures nearby and I AFK 114 blocks above it.
