May 16, 2021 · Let me share with you the photos of my latest work, Mig-15 in North-Korean camouflage from Eduard, in 1/72. Added some PE and resin parts from Eduard, and brass gun barrels. Excellent paint job, and a very attractive multi-color scheme. I've only seen this colors on African MIGs, so far! Very convincing MiG-15! Kind regards, Joachim.

Oct 8, 2015 · Anyone have an idea how I can confirm the actual paint color used? I have purchased every mig-15 book I have found on Amazon, they all suck. The Mig-15 I saw at top gun or JWM was a much brighter red, and I like it a lot more!

Apr 14, 2011 · The paint scheme was challenging and the result is not without faults but I was really pleased with how it turned out and I learnt a lot about masking this kind of scheme for the airbrush. Paints used were Humbrol acrylic dropper bottles and the clear coats are Tamiya.

Dec 31, 2019 · The paint schemes are nice, as is the bare metal jet. I have a Monogram MiG-15 almost ready for paint, it was a bag kit with no decals . I found some for a Russian plane on eBay.

As you may or may not be aware there are a number of decal sheets out there for the MiG-15 and a lot of these schemes are camouflaged. The best of the bunch are the camo schemes used during the Korean War.

Feb 4, 2013 · I believe it's the aircraft owned by the Jet Warbird Training Centre. If so, it should be a polish built aircraft and pictures I've seen show a very light grey on the undersurfaces. You could contact the owners and ask what paint they used. However I would just look into the paint stash and select any paint that looks close enough
