Mar 3, 2023 · After seeing the beautiful Mig-15 nightfighter build in "Ready For Inspection" I am researching Chinese Korean War Mig-15 camouflage schemes and have located maybe six photo sources such as those well-known photos from the Squadron In-Action book, stills from a Korea War dramatic film, and a few blurry shots from various magazine articles.

Oct 2, 2018 · On the bright side, the camouflage is busy enough, with lots of contrast, so that the darker panel lines actually turned out about right. Tonight I wanted to somehow fix my paint scheme to give it more tonal variation and make it appear a little sun-faded.

Aug 17, 2022 · More that by this time the VVS had stopped using camouflage, so didn't have standard camo any more, at least on jets, which were not natural metal, but aluminium paint. So, the one that were camouflaged, were done in theatre.

Aug 28, 2018 · I have Osprey Aircraft of the Aces #82, Soviet Mig-15 Aces of the Korean Conflict, and all of the color profiles of Soviet Mig-15 aces show their Mig-15's in North Korean markings, which IIRC they had to do to conceal their active involvement; pilots were discouraged from using Russian over the radio as well.
